As a representative of the Super Strats for Rock and Metal, the Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS Floyd Rose is characterized by a high playing comfort. The alder body in the typical "Contour Body" cut assumes a stable position both on the strap and on the thigh, while the slender maple neck with a "Modern C" profile lies perfectly in the hand so that on the Pau Ferro fretboard every note goes off the fingers as if by itself. With the HSS pickup setup, the Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS proves to be a versatile tool for rock and metal. The bridge-mounted Fender Blacktop humbucker convinces with a hot output and a fat sound, which offers the perfect basis for hard riffs and screeching solos in the distortion channel. Two Fender single-coil pickups complement the typical glassy sound. In addition, the humbucker can be split into single-coil via the push/pull volume control, providing the full range of classic Strat tones. the Standard Stratocaster HSS Floyd Rose is also armed with a Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge.
